The PBJ Story
Meet Coach Dev
Coach Dev is a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Certified Instructor with a passion for helping players of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential. With over five years of competitive pickleball experience and more than two years of coaching, he has taught through city recreation programs, school-based instruction, private lessons, and semi-private training. In addition to pickleball, Coach Dev brings more than 15 years of experience as a tennis instructor, giving him a deep understanding of stroke mechanics, footwork, strategy, and long-term player development. A graduate of the California State University, Long Beach Teacher Education Program, he combines proven teaching methods with a fun, encouraging coaching style that builds confidence, develops strong fundamentals, and helps every player enjoy the game while continuously improving.
